Georgina Helen Henley (born 9 July 1995) is an English actress. She started acting as a child. She became very well-known for playing Lucy Pevensie in The Chronicles of Narnia fantasy film series. These movies were released between 2005 and 2010. The series earned over US$1.5 billion around the world. Georgie won several awards and nominations for her acting.
After the Chronicles of Narnia films, she took on new roles. She starred in the thriller film Perfect Sisters (2014). She also led the independent mystery film The Sisterhood of Night (2015). Her role in The Sisterhood of Night helped show her as a more grown-up actress. Later, she played Margaret Tudor in the historical series The Spanish Princess (2019–2020).

Georgie Henley was born on July 9, 1995. Her parents are Helen and Mike Henley. She grew up in Ilkley, West Yorkshire, England. Georgie went to Moorfield School for Girls. After that, she attended Bradford Grammar School. She has two older sisters named Rachael and Laura. Interestingly, Rachael played an older version of Lucy Pevensie in The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.

Georgie Henley began her acting journey in 2005. Her first role was Lucy Pevensie in the film The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. This movie was based on the famous C.S. Lewis novel. The film was a huge success, making over $745 million worldwide.

University and Directing Work
While studying English at University of Cambridge, Georgie continued to act. She performed in several stage plays. These included Play It Again, Sam and The Penelopiad. She also acted in The Trojan Women and A Clockwork Orange. She even performed in the annual university pantomime.
Georgie also tried directing. She co-directed Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. She also co-wrote and co-directed a play called After Seymour. In 2015, Georgie wrote and directed her first short film, named TIDE.
Recent Work
In 2018, Georgie Henley played Margaret Tudor in the Starz series The Spanish Princess. This series was based on historical novels by Philippa Gregory. In 2019, she was announced as a cast member for a new TV series. This series was planned as a prequel to Game of Thrones, but it was not picked up by HBO.
Personal Life
As of 2012, Georgie Henley supported SOS Children's Villages. This is a charity that helps orphaned and abandoned children. She lives in London, England.
