Georgina Alice Campbell (born June 12, 1992) is a talented English actress. She is known for her many roles in TV shows and movies. In 2015, she won a special award called the BAFTA TV Award for Best Actress. She won it for her role in the TV film Murdered by My Boyfriend (2014). This made her the first non-white actress to win that specific award.
Georgina has also appeared in popular TV series like Flowers (2016) and Broadchurch (2017). She was also in an episode of Black Mirror called "Hang the DJ" (2017). Later, she starred in the show Krypton (2018). More recently, she has been in movies such as Barbarian (2022) and The Watchers (2024).

Early Life and Education
Georgina Campbell was born in 1992 in Maidstone, Kent, England. Her father was a police officer from Jamaica. Her mother was a teacher from England. Georgina is the middle of three daughters.
After her parents separated, she grew up mainly with her mother and stepfather. They lived in Dartford. Georgina went to Royal Holloway, University of London. She studied Film Studies and earned a degree in 2014.
Acting Career Highlights
Starting Out: 2009–2021
Georgina Campbell began her acting journey at age 16. She was discovered on the street and got her first role. This was as Lucy in the 2009 online series Freak. She then had smaller parts in several well-known TV shows. These included Casualty, Holby City, Doctors, and Death in Paradise.
When she was 22, Georgina won the BAFTA TV Award for Best Actress. This was for her powerful role as Ashley Jones in the TV film Murdered by My Boyfriend (2014). This was a big moment, as she was the first non-white actress to win this award.
In 2015, Georgina starred in the comedy-drama After Hours. She played a character named Jasmine. She also had a main role in the mini-series Tripped (2015). She appeared in the drama One of Us (2016) and the comedy Flowers (2016).
Her first movie role was a small part in Guy Ritchie's King Arthur: Legend of the Sword in 2017. That same year, she joined the cast of the detective show Broadchurch as DC Katie Harford. She also appeared in the popular Black Mirror episode "Hang the DJ" as Amy. In 2018, she started playing Lyta-Zod in the sci-fi series Krypton. She also had a guest role in HBO's His Dark Materials in 2019.

In 2022, Georgina starred in the horror film Barbarian. This movie was very popular and received great reviews.
The year 2023 saw her in several films. She co-starred in the horror thriller Bird Box Barcelona. She also appeared in the sci-fi thriller T.I.M.. Another horror film she was in was Lovely, Dark, and Deep.
In 2024, Georgina co-starred in the supernatural horror movie The Watchers. This film was directed by Ishana Night Shyamalan. She is also set to appear in upcoming thrillers like Cold Storage and Psycho Killer.
