Get 100 was a fun British TV quiz show for kids. It aired on CBBC from April 16, 2007, to February 26, 2009. The show had two different hosts. Reggie Yates hosted the first series. Later, Hardeep Singh Kohli took over for the second series.

How to Play Get 100

Get 100 was a quiz show where contestants tried to reach a score of 100 points. The game involved answering questions and making smart choices with points.

Game Rules for Series 1

In the first series, the main goal was to get exactly 100 points. You could also try to get as close to 100 as possible. Each question's answer was a number. This number was the amount of points you could use.

You had a few options with these points:

  • Keep the points for yourself.
  • Give the points to another player.
  • Take points away from another player, if allowed.

If you reached exactly 100 points by the end of 12 questions, you won the "prize pod." This was a room filled with awesome prizes. It had games, computers, TVs, and more! If no one hit 100 points, the player closest to 100 got to pick one prize.

Changes in Series 2

The second series of Get 100 brought many changes. The show got a new look with updated graphics. There was also a new presenter and a fresh logo.

A big change was how the game ended. In Series 1, there were "preliminary" rounds and a big Friday final. For Series 2, this was removed. Players still played the game as usual. However, the winner of each show immediately won a prize from the prize pod.

Who Played the Game?

Each episode of Get 100 featured four contestants. There was also a live audience of about 130 people. Each contestant had a special section of the audience cheering them on.

The answers to all questions were numbers between 1 and 99. Contestants had 10 seconds to think of their answer. If a contestant answered incorrectly, the question moved to the next player. This continued until someone got the correct answer.

Where Was Get 100 Filmed?

The show was made by BBC Scotland in Glasgow. It was filmed in their television studio. The studio had four large screens. These screens surrounded the players during the game.
