Geílson de Carvalho Soares, often called Geílson, is a football player from Brazil. He was born on April 10, 1984, in Cuiabá, Brazil. Geílson played as a striker, which means his main job on the field was to score goals. He is known for playing for many different football clubs during his career.

Geílson's Football Journey

Geílson started his football journey in Brazil. He joined the youth team of Atlético Paranaense between 2000 and 2001. This was where he began to develop his skills as a striker.

Playing for Santos FC

One of the most notable teams Geílson played for was Santos FC. He joined Santos in 2004. During his time there, he played in the Série A, which is Brazil's top football league. In 2005, he had a good season, scoring 10 goals in 23 games for Santos.

Adventures Abroad: Japan, Saudi Arabia, and Iran
