Giulia Barreto Benite (born June 14, 2008) is a talented Brazilian actress. She became well-known for playing the character Monica in the movies Turma da Mônica: Laços and Turma da Mônica: Lições.

Giulia Benite's Acting Journey

Giulia was born in São Paulo, Brazil. Her sister, Bela Benite, studied theater, and Giulia was inspired by her. Giulia tried out for some movie roles when she was younger, but she didn't get them at first.

In April 2017, Giulia auditioned for the role of Monica in the movie Laços. She got the part, and the movie came out in 2019. People really loved her performance as Monica! This role opened doors for her.

In 2019, she also appeared in the TV series Segunda Chamada. She filmed the movie 10 Horas para o Natal with actors like Luis Lobianco. Giulia won the Newcomer of the Year award from Meus Prêmios Nick for her role as Monica.

In 2021, she starred in Turma da Mônica: Lições, which was the sequel to Laços. She also appeared in the second season of Segunda Chamada. In 2022, she played Monica again in Turma da Mônica - A Série, which was the final part of the trilogy.

In 2024, Giulia played Bebel in the movie Chama a Bebel. Bebel is a young woman in a wheelchair who moves from the countryside to a big city for her studies. The movie premiered in January 2024. In May 2024, she was also in the comedy film De Repente, Miss.

Giulia also tried out for some big international roles. In 2020, she auditioned to play America Chavez in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. She passed the first part of the audition, but the role eventually went to Xochitl Gomez. In 2022, she auditioned for Annabeth Chase in the Percy Jackson TV series, but Leah Jeffries got that role.
