Giuseppe Furino (born 5 July 1946) is a retired Italian footballer. He played as a midfielder. Even though he was small, Furino was a very strong and energetic player. People called him Furia, which means "Fury." He was known for working hard and winning the ball in the middle of the field. He also had good technical skills.
Furino started his club career with Savona in 1966. He then played one season with Palermo in 1968. In 1969, he joined Juventus. He stayed there for 13 seasons and became the team's captain. He won many important titles with Juventus, including a record eight Serie A championships in Italy. He also played for the Italian national team at the 1970 FIFA World Cup, where his team finished second.

Giuseppe Furino was born in Palermo, Italy. He started playing football as a young player at Juventus. Later, he played for Savona Calcio and Palermo.
He played his first top-level game in Italy's Serie A league for Palermo. This was against Cagliari on 29 August 1968. After that, he moved to Juventus for the 1969–70 season.
Furino's first game for Juventus was in a Coppa Italia match against Mantova F.C. on 31 August 1969. He played for Juventus for 15 seasons in a row. His last game was against Avellino on 6 May 1984. He played 361 Serie A games for Juventus and 528 games in total for the club. He scored 19 goals and was also the team's captain.

He won eight Italian league championships with Juventus. This is a record for the most Italian titles won by a player. He shares this record with Giovanni Ferrari and Gianluigi Buffon. During his time at Juventus, he also won the Coppa Italia (Italian Cup) twice. He also won the UEFA Cup and the European Cup Winners' Cup. He also played in the European Cup final twice, in 1973 and 1983. He also reached the 1973 Intercontinental Cup final.
Playing for Italy
Furino played three times for the Italian national team between 1970 and 1974. He was part of the Italian team at the 1970 FIFA World Cup. Italy reached the final of that tournament.
He played his first international game during the World Cup. This was in Italy's match against Uruguay on 6 June 1970. He came into the game as a substitute for Angelo Domenghini.
