Building Awesome Parks
Giver is all about teamwork and creativity. The show teaches kids how parks are made. It shows how ideas turn into real places where people can play. Each park has a special theme or purpose. For example, some parks might be about dinosaurs or music. The kids on the show get to share their ideas. They help make important decisions about the park's design.
Giver 150: Canada's Biggest Playground
To celebrate Canada's 150th birthday, a special project called Giver 150 was launched. This huge project aimed to build the largest playground in Canada. It opened on July 1, 2017, in Ottawa at Mooney Bay. Over 400 volunteers, including many kids, helped build it.
The playground is super big, covering 50,000 square feet. That's like a giant football field! It's even shaped like Canada. Different parts of the playground represent Canada's provinces and territories. This means you can play in areas designed to look like different parts of the country.
