Glen Harry Macnow (born April 23, 1955) is an American sports talk radio host. He was well-known for his show on 94 WIP in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Early Life and Career
Glen Macnow was born in New York City on April 23, 1955. He grew up in Buffalo, New York. He went to Boston University and later became a newspaper writer. His writing career took him to different cities, including Cocoa Beach, Florida and Detroit, Michigan.
In 1986, he joined The Philadelphia Inquirer newspaper. In 1993, Philadelphia magazine called him "The Best Sportswriter in Philadelphia." Glen is often called "The Prof" or "The Professor." This is because he teaches at St. Joseph's University. He is married to Judy and has two sons, Ted and Alex.
A Prolific Writer
Glen Macnow has written many books, especially for children. Most of his children's books are biographies about famous sports figures. He has also written several popular books about Philadelphia sports.
In 2003, he helped write The Great Philadelphia Fan Book. This book is about the passionate sports fans in Philadelphia and their four professional teams. He also co-authored The Great Philadelphia Sports Debate in 2004. In 2006, he worked on The Great Book of Philadelphia Sports Lists. An updated version of this book came out in 2019. It included exciting new achievements, like the 2008 Philadelphia Phillies season when they won the World Series. It also covered the 2017 Philadelphia Eagles season when they won Super Bowl LII. In 2009, Macnow co-authored The Ultimate Book of Sports Movies.
Beyond Sports Talk
Macnow is known for more than just sports discussions. He hosted a "Movie Club for Men" during the summer. He also had an annual "food hunt" where he searched for the best of a certain food, like burgers or pizza, in the Delaware Valley area.
He also co-hosts a TV show called "What's Brewing." On this show, he visits local breweries and stores that sell beer. They talk about different types of beer. The show airs weekly on NBC Sports Philadelphia networks.
In 2016, Glen Macnow was honored by being added to the Philadelphia Jewish Sports Hall of Fame. After 31 years on the radio, he retired from WIP-FM on July 13, 2024.
Besides his work in sports media, Glen Macnow enjoys acting. He has performed in plays and on screen. He is also a part-owner of the Conshohocken Brewing Company.
