Becoming a Pizza Master
Glenn Cybulski's journey to becoming a top chef started in 1988 when he first visited Italy. He learned about local cooking styles, which inspired many of his award-winning recipes. He loved it so much that he kept going back to compete and learn more about rustic Italian food.
To become a true pizza expert, he studied at the Scuola Italiana Pizzaioli in Italy. There, he mastered the art of making Neapolitan pizza, a classic style from Naples, and earned his Pizzaiolo certification.
Sharing His Knowledge
Chef Cybulski doesn't just make pizza; he also teaches others. He is an instructor at the School of Pizzeria Management and often speaks at the International Pizza Expo, a huge event for pizza lovers. He has also written for Pizza Today Magazine.
He has worked with famous food companies and people. In 2006, he helped design the "Thin Crust DeLight" pizza for Papa Murphy's. He has also helped other pizzeria owners improve their recipes and has even been a consultant for the Travel Channel show "Food Wars".
In 2013, Cybulski co-founded Persona Wood Fired Pizzeria in Santa Barbara, California. The restaurant's menu was built around his special pizza recipes.
