Go, Dog. Go! is a fun animated TV show for kids. It's based on a popular children's book from 1961 called Go, Dog. Go! by P. D. Eastman. Adam Peltzman helped create the show for Netflix.
The series is made by DreamWorks Animation Television and WildBrain Studios. It first aired on January 26, 2021. New seasons came out on December 7, 2021, September 19, 2022, and November 27, 2023.

What is Go, Dog. Go! About?
The show follows the exciting lives of two young dogs, Tag Barker and Scooch Pooch. They live in a town called Pawston, which is full of other dogs!
Meet the Characters
Main Characters
- Tag Barker (voiced by Michela Luci in the US) is a 6-year-old orange dog. She is super energetic and loves to invent things. Tag appears in every episode!
- Scooch Pooch (voiced by Callum Shoniker in the US) is a 6-year-old small blue dog. He's Tag's best friend and neighbor. Scooch is new to Pawston, having moved from a farm. He's a bit more shy than Tag.
- Maw Barker (voiced by Katie Griffin in the US) is a lavender dog. She's a blimp pilot in Pawston and the mother of Tag, Cheddar Biscuit, Gilber, Spike, and Yip.
- Paw Barker (voiced by Martin Roach in the US) is a brown dog. He owns the Ding Dong Doorbell store. He's the father of Tag, Cheddar Biscuit, Gilber, Spike, and Yip.
- Cheddar Biscuit (voiced by Tajja Isen in the US) is a white dog with polka dots. She loves to perform as a clown. She's Tag's sister and often performs with Gilber.
- Spike Barker (voiced by Lyon Smith) is a red dog. He's very athletic and enjoys sports. Spike is Tag's brother.
- Gilber Barker (voiced by Lyon Smith in the US) is a yellow dog. He's Tag's brother and often comes up with clever plans. He sometimes works with Cheddar Biscuit.
- Grandma Marge Barker (voiced by Judy Marshak in the US) is a purple dog. She's the grandmother of Tag and her siblings. Marge and Mort run a repair shop.
- Grandpaw Mort Barker (voiced by Patrick McKenna in the US) is a beige dog. He runs the repair shop with Marge. He's the grandfather of Tag and her siblings.
- Yip Barker (voiced by Diane Salemi) is a purple puppy. He is the youngest sibling of Tag and her family.
- Sgt Pooch (voiced by Linda Ballantyne) is a blue dog. She is Scooch's mother and works as a police officer in Pawston.
Other Fun Characters
- Frank (voiced by David Berni in the US) is a yellow dog who wears glasses. He's often trying to come up with plans, sometimes for selfish reasons.
- Beans (voiced by Anand Rajaram in the US) is a large green dog with an aviator's flight cap. He's kind-hearted and often helps Frank with his schemes.
- Lady Lydia (voiced by Linda Ballantyne) is a rose-colored Poodle. She's famous in Pawston for having a huge collection of hats!
- Gerald (voiced by Patrick McKenna) is a teal dog. He's a mail dog, delivering letters all over Pawston.
- Muttfield (voiced by Patrick McKenna) is a purple dog. He's a well-known magician in Pawston.
- Manhole Dog (Todd) (voiced by Patrick McKenna) is a beige dog. You often see him peeking out of manholes. He's also secretly Master Wag, a master of "Tail-kwondo"!
- Mayor Sniffington (voiced by Linda Ballantyne) is a purple dog. She is the mayor of Pawston.
- Sam Whippet (voiced by Joshua Graham) is a blue dog. He's a Pawston celebrity, famous for winning many races. Tag really looks up to him.
- The Barkapellas are a group of three dogs who sing instead of talk.
- Tenor (voiced by Paul Buckley) is the tall orange male.
- Bass (voiced by Reno Selmser) is the short purple male.
- Alto (voiced by Zoe D'Andrea) is the medium-sized cyan female.
- Kit Whiskerton (voiced by Zarina Rocha) is a purple cat. She is Tom's daughter and a friend to Tag and Scooch.

How the Show is Made
The idea for Go, Dog. Go! was first announced in 2019. It was planned as one of seven new shows for younger kids on Netflix. It was supposed to come out in late 2020 but was released in January 2021 instead. Each episode is about 24 minutes long and usually has two shorter stories inside it.

The music for Go, Dog. Go! is created by Paul Buckley. He helps make the show's world sound exciting and fun!

Go, Dog. Go! first came out on January 26, 2021, all around the world on Netflix. A preview trailer was released a few weeks before, on January 6.
