Tajja Isen is a talented Canadian writer, editor, and actress. She is well-known for lending her voice to many popular cartoon characters. Her most famous voice role is the main character, Atomic Betty. She also wrote a book of essays called Some of My Best Friends: Essays on Lip Service, which came out in April 2022.

Early Life and Family

Tajja Isen was born in Toronto, Canada. She is the oldest of five children. Her mother is from Trinidad and Tobago. Tajja also has a younger sister, Nissae Isen, who is also a voice actress.

Starting Her Career

Tajja began her acting journey on stage. When she was 9 years old, she played Young Nala in Disney's The Lion King stage show in Toronto. She even received an award nomination for this role!

Her voice acting career started when she was 10. She voiced Sister Bear in the 2002 TV show The Berenstain Bears. Tajja was already a big fan of the books and the older TV series.
