My Big Big Friend (known as Meu Amigãozão in Brazil) is a fun animated TV show for kids. It was made by Andrés Lieban and Claudia Koogan Breitman from Canada and Brazil. Two companies, 2D Lab from Brazil and Breakthrough Animation from Canada, worked together to create it.
The show first aired in Brazil on August 9, 2009, on Discovery Kids Latin America. It then came to TV Brazil on May 9, 2010. Canadian viewers could watch it on Treehouse TV starting August 9, 2010. The show was supported by special government funding for TV and film projects.
The story is about three children: Yuri, Lili, and Matt. Each child has a special "Big Big Friend." These friends are invisible to grown-ups and other kids. But Yuri, Lili, and Matt can all see each other's Big Big Friends. The show is made using a computer animation style called flash animation, specifically with Toon Boom Harmony software.

Meet the Main Characters
This section introduces the three main human characters in the show.
Yuri: The Imaginative Explorer
Yuri is 5 years old. He is a very smart, independent, and happy boy. He has a huge imagination, which often leads to exciting adventures. Since he is an only child, Yuri can sometimes feel a bit lonely. This also means he might be a little selfish at times.
Lili: The Determined Leader
Lili is almost 6 years old. She is very strong-willed and loyal to her friends. Lili often speaks her mind without thinking first. She is the oldest of four children and helps take care of her three baby brothers. This has made her a bit bossy, which her friends don't always like, especially when she tries to control their games.
Matt: The Energetic Sports Fan
Matt is 7 years old. He loves playing sports and is full of energy in everything he does. Matt is very curious and always has new ideas and opinions. He can be quite mischievous, which often gets him into funny trouble. Matt has an older sister named Nina, who sometimes teases him.

Golias: Yuri's Gentle Giant
Golias is Yuri's Big Big Friend. He is a very large, round, blue elephant. Golias is loving and enjoys acting, dressing up, and trying new things. He also loves playing outside. However, Golias is quite shy and might get scared if the lights are off. He loves giving Yuri rides on his trunk. Golias gets sad if he feels left out of the fun.
Nessa: Lili's Cheerful Giraffe
Nessa is Lili's Big Big Friend. She is a pink giraffe who is super friendly and can make friends with anyone. Nessa is always positive and happy. She also lets Lili ride on her long neck. Nessa is good at helping friends solve problems and get along.
Bongo: Matt's Bouncy Kangaroo
Bongo is Matt's Big Big Friend. He is a green Kangaroo. Just like Matt, Bongo is athletic, full of energy, and always jumping around. He has a great sense of humor and a laugh that makes everyone else laugh too. Bongo doesn't like being ignored and loves attention. He can also be quite fearful. Even though he's a male kangaroo, he has a pouch that Matt rides in. Bongo seems to have many pouches, as he pulls things from different spots on his body!
