What is JoJo's Circus About?
The show takes place in a special place called Circus Town. This city's main spot is the "Big Top" tent, which is like its cultural center. The story follows JoJo Tickle, a 6-year-old girl clown, and her friendly pet lion named Goliath.
JoJo and Goliath go to the Little Big Top Circus School. Here, all young circus performers learn how to do amazing tricks from their teacher, Mrs. Kersplatski. JoJo and her friends explore Circus Town and learn new things while facing fun challenges.
How Do Episodes Work?
Each episode of JoJo's Circus follows a similar pattern. It always starts with JoJo looking for Goliath, who is usually hiding somewhere. Then, JoJo finds a situation that becomes the main theme of the episode. A song is often performed by JoJo, usually about how to solve the problem.
At the end of every episode, another character asks JoJo, "What did you learn today, JoJo?" Before she can answer, JoJo is quickly taken to a special "spotlight moment." On a makeshift stage, with cameras and lights, the "Spotlight Moment" song plays. JoJo then explains what she learned during the episode.
