The ZhuZhus (also known as Polly and the Zhu Zhu Pets) is a fun animated TV show from Canada and the United States. It was made by Cepia LLC and Nelvana. The show first aired in the U.S. on Disney Channel on September 12, 2016.

What the Show is About
The ZhuZhus follows the exciting adventures of an 8-year-old girl named Frankie Pamplemousse. She lives with her parents and her four special, talking hamsters. These hamsters are named Pipsqueak, Mr. Squiggles, Num Nums, and Chunk. Together, this group of five explores their town, Anytown, and gets into all sorts of fun situations.
Meet the Characters
Main Characters
- Frankie Pamplemousse (voiced by Jenna Warren) is the main human character. She is 8 years old and owns the four amazing Zhu Zhu pets.
- Pipsqueak (voiced by Tajja Isen) is the first Zhu Zhu pet. She has bright yellow fur and loves to go on adventures. Pipsqueak is often seen as the unofficial leader of the hamsters. Her special birthmark looks like a shooting star.
- Mr. Squiggles (voiced by Richard Binsley) is the second Zhu Zhu pet. He has orange fur and is known for being very smart. His unique birthmark is a spiral shape.
- Num Nums (voiced by Stephany Seki) is the third Zhu Zhu pet. She has purple fur and likes to think carefully before doing anything. Her birthmark is a heart.
- Chunk (voiced by Robert Tinkler) is the fourth and final Zhu Zhu pet. He has sky blue fur and is super strong. Chunk also loves to eat and has a great sense of style. His birthmark is a sun.
- Jilly and Bean are two mischievous twin hamsters. Jilly has pink fur, and Bean has blue fur. They have appeared in some episodes of the series.
Other Important Characters
- Ellen Pamplemousse (voiced by Stacey DePass) is Frankie's mom. She works as a professional plumber.
- Stanley Pamplemousse (voiced by Zachary Bennett) is Frankie's dad. He also works as a plumber and loves music. He knows a lot about nature.
- Wilfred P. Kerdle or Mr. Kerdle (voiced by Patrick McKenna) is the grumpy janitor at Frankie's school. He often tries to keep the Zhu Zhus out of trouble, but they usually find a way in!
- Cindy and Mindy Gelato (voiced by Rebecca Brenner and Samantha Weinstein) are twin sisters and Frankie's good friends.
- Madge (voiced by Brianna D'Aguanno) is Frankie's neighbor and rival. She always tries to win against Frankie. Madge has a cat named Princess Tickyboo.
- Whendy Sails (voiced by Nicole Stamp) is a famous news reporter for Channel 5.
- Jessica Beeker (voiced by Addison Holley) is Frankie's favorite popstar.
