Nicole Stamp's Career in TV and Film
Nicole Stamp is known for her work as a writer, director, actress, and TV host. She has been nominated for three Canadian Screen Awards. These awards are like the Canadian Emmys. She was nominated twice for her writing and once for directing the youth series Lockdown.
Early TV Work
Nicole started her career at TVOntario. She co-hosted six seasons of a show called The SPACE. She also hosted the Ontario Championships of Reach For The Top from 2004 to 2009.
She wrote a series called EnviroGirl. In this show, she played the main character, an educational superhero. TVOntario won an award for another show she hosted, Time Trackers. This was a history series where she also voiced animated characters. Nicole also co-hosted Word Wizard, which was nominated for an award too.
Improv and Interviews
Nicole performed with The Second City's Canadian National Touring Company for two seasons. This group is famous for its comedy and improv shows.
She has also directed and hosted many interviews with celebrities. These interviews happened on the red carpet at the Toronto International Film Festival.
Voice Acting Roles
Nicole Stamp has lent her voice to many characters. She was the voice of Police Cadet Sanders in Total Drama Presents: The Ridonculous Race. She has also voiced characters for the video game company Ubisoft.
She voiced characters in an animated short film called Interregnum. This film was about Rene Carmille, a brave Frenchman who saved many people during World War II. Nicole also voices two conjoined snakes, Laziel and Raziel, in a pilot show called The Wonderful Wingits.

As a writer, Nicole's essays have been published in well-known places like CNN. She also created a solo show called BETTER PARTS. This show received great reviews. Critics called it "intoxicatingly written and joyously performed."
As an actress, Nicole is famous for playing Melanippe "Mel" Callis. This role was in the web series Carmilla. This series has been watched over 70 million times around the world. She also played Stamper in another award-winning web series called Tactical Girls.
In 2016, Nicole directed and co-hosted Inside Between. This was a digital aftershow for the Netflix drama Between. In 2017, she returned as Melanippe "Mel" Callis in The Carmilla Movie. This movie takes place five years after the web series ended. In 2020, Nicole appeared in the Netflix series Locke & Key as Nurse Ruth.
Nicole Stamp grew up in Toronto. She went to Richview Collegiate Institute. She also earned a degree in Theatre and English from the University of Toronto.
