What is Odd Squad?
The show is about an organization called Odd Squad. It's run completely by kids! Their job is to solve strange and unusual problems using math.
In the first two seasons, the main agents worked at Precinct 13579. These were Agents Olive (Dalila Bela) and Otto (Filip Geljo) in Season 1. Then, Agents Olympia (Anna Cathcart) and Otis (Isaac Kragten) took over in Season 2. Other kids also work for Odd Squad. There are security officers, tube operators, and scientists. Almost all employees have names starting with the letter "O."
Their boss, Ms. O (Millie Davis), gives them cases. Agents travel through a system of tubes to get where they need to go. They use math to figure out how to solve the problem. Sometimes, they go back to their headquarters. They might also visit the "Mathroom." This special room helps agents by showing them information.
Odd Squad agents also use cool "gadgets." These are invented by the scientists. In Season 1, Agent Oscar (Sean Michael Kyer) was in charge of the science lab. Later, Agent Oona (Olivia Presti) became his assistant. She eventually took over the lab when Oscar got a promotion.
The agents face many villains. These villains often create problems that need math to solve. The Odd Squad headquarters has a special seal. It shows a mythical creature called a jackalope.
In the third season, the show changed. It was called Odd Squad Mobile Unit. Instead of a precinct, the agents worked from a van. Four agents were sent by the Big O (Millie Davis). They traveled around the world. Their job was to help solve cases in places where local Odd Squad offices needed help. The fourth season, Odd Squad UK, is set in an Odd Squad office in the United Kingdom.
