Dalila Bela was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Her family has roots from different places. Her father is from Panama, and her mother is from Brazil. Dalila has two younger brothers, Bruce and Raphael. Both of her brothers are also actors.
Dalila's Acting Journey
Dalila started acting when she was just five years old. Her first role was in a national TV commercial. A year later, she won an award for Best Actor of the Year. After that, her family moved to Vancouver.
She then won a Young Artist Award for her role in a movie called The Stranger. This movie was released directly to video. Dalila won the Young Artist Award again in 2011 and 2012. These awards were for her work in the film Joanna Makes a Friend.
In 2015, Dalila won a Joey Award. This was for her main role in the TV series Odd Squad. She shared this award with her co-stars from the show. She also received praise for her role as Lola Littleton in a film called Dead Hearts.
Dalila played Diana Barry in the TV series Anne with an E. This show was made by CBC and Netflix. It is based on the popular book Anne of Green Gables.
