Good & Fruity was a colorful, fruity candy made by The Hershey Company. It looked a lot like another candy called Good & Plenty. When it first came out, Good & Fruity had a red licorice center.

The Story of Good & Fruity Candy
Early Days and First Recipe
Before 1992, all Good & Fruity candies had the same red gummy center. The different flavors came from the hard candy shell on the outside. This meant the inside was always the same, but the outside tasted different depending on its color.
Changes in the 1990s
Around 1992, the way Good & Fruity was made changed. The inside of the candy now matched the color and flavor of the outer shell. This made the candy taste even "fruitier." After this change, the candy was out of production for a while.
Return and New Flavors
Good & Fruity came back to stores in March 2008. The recipe was changed again, making the candy more like a jelly bean. This new version did not contain red licorice anymore. The name also changed slightly from "Good n' Fruity" to "Good & Fruity," using an ampersand (&) instead of "n."

Sadly, Good & Fruity candy stopped being made again in mid-2018.
