What is a Hamlet?

Life in Goose Island
Goose Island is known for its farms and homes. Many of these are clustered near the intersection of County Route 47 and Goose Island Road. One special place here is the Goose Island Potato Farm. The McKernon families who own the farm often host "U-Pick" events. This means you can visit the farm on certain weekends and pick your own potatoes! It's a fun way to see how food is grown.
