The Governor of Gujarat is a very important person in the Indian state of Gujarat. Think of them as the official head of the state. They are chosen by the President of India. Managing the State: Executive Powers
The Governor has powers related to how the state is run every day. This includes:
- Appointing important people to government jobs.
- Removing certain officials if needed.

Making Laws: Legislative Powers
