Acharya Devvrat, born on January 18, 1959, is an important Indian politician. He currently serves as the 20th Governor of Gujarat, a state in India. Before becoming a governor, he was an educationalist, meaning he worked in education. He was also a leader in the Arya Samaj, a Hindu reform movement.
Who is Acharya Devvrat?
Acharya Devvrat was born in Samalkha, which was then part of East Punjab and is now in Haryana, India. He is married to Darsana Devi.
Before becoming a governor, he was the principal of a Gurukul in Kurukshetra, Haryana. A Gurukul is a traditional Indian school where students live with their teacher.
