Graben is a small town, also called a municipality, in Switzerland. It's located in the Oberaargau area of the Bern canton. Switzerland is a country in Europe.

History of Graben

Graben has a long history. It was first written about in the year 1220. Back then, it was called Stadonce.

Later, in the 1800s, people knew it by a different name. It was called Graben durch den Wald. This means "Graben through the forest."

Graben covers an area of about 3.16 square kilometers (1.22 square miles). This information is from 2009.
