Later, River was performed at the Proms. This was a big deal because it was the first time the Proms had a concert outside London since 1930. The piece was also played in the United States in 2018.

In November 2017, the BBC Philharmonic played her orchestral work. It was called Kintsukuroi: (Golden Repair). This was part of a special concert for BBC Radio 3.
