Grandfalls is a small town located in Ward County, Texas, in the United States. It got its name because it's close to the "grand falls" of the Pecos River. These falls are about 3 miles (4.8 km) to the west.
In the late 1880s, early settlers were drawn to the Grandfalls area. They liked the steady supply of water from the Pecos River. According to the 2020 United States census, 340 people lived in Grandfalls.
