Gratiot is a small village in Lafayette County, Wisconsin, in the United States. In 2010, about 236 people lived there. The village is surrounded by the larger area known as the Town of Gratiot.

A Look Back in Time
Gratiot village is named after Henry Gratiot. He was a French-American trader and also worked as an agent for Native American tribes. The first post office in Gratiot opened in July 1834. Its first postmaster was a person named Fortunatus Berry.

According to the 2010 census, 236 people lived in Gratiot. There were 97 households and 64 families. The village had about 400 people per square mile. Most of the people living in Gratiot (97.9%) were White. A small number were Asian (0.4%) or from two or more races (1.7%).
