Great Lake Swimmers is a Canadian band that plays a mix of folk and indie music. They started in Wainfleet, Ontario, and are now based in Toronto. Their first album, also called Great Lake Swimmers, came out on January 28, 2003. It was released again on April 5, 2005.
The band has five members. Today, the members are Tony Dekker, Erik Arnesen, Greg Millson, Miranda Mulholland, and Bret Higgins. In 2010, the Canadian Indie Awards named them the Favourite Folk/Roots Artist/Group.
