Greenville is found in the eastern part of Beaver County. You can find it along Utah State Route 21, which is a state highway. It's located southwest of the city of Beaver, which is the main town and the county seat (where the county government is).

A Look at Greenville's Past
Greenville has an interesting history that goes back to the 1800s. Before it was a community, this spot was a camp. It was located on the north side of a shallow part of the Beaver River, where people could cross. This crossing was part of the old Mormon Road, a path used by early settlers.
In 1855, the main road was moved further up the river. But Greenville itself was first settled a few years later, in 1861. The people who settled here decided to name the community "Greenville" for a very simple reason. The area was covered in thick, beautiful green grass, making it a very pleasant and welcoming place.
