Griseargiolestes is a special group, or genus, of beautiful insects called damselflies. They belong to a family known as Megapodagrionidae. These damselflies are medium-sized. They often have shiny, metallic black and green bodies with lighter markings. You can only find them in eastern Australia. This means they are endemic to that area, found nowhere else in the world!
