Grisy-Suisnes facts for kids
Grisy-Suisnes is a small village, about 33 km from Paris. It is situated in the Seine-et-Marne department (77) in the Île-de-France region, at an interconnection of the TGV. Its geographical coordinates are 48°41′7″N 2°40′4″E. It covers an area of 1,848 ha.
In 1999, the village had a population of 1,989. People who live there are called Grisysoliens.
In the past, the village supplied the French royalty with roses. The church of Grisy-Suisnes is named Notre Dame des Roses. The church, if seen from above, was designed to look like a rose with its petals.
