The Guadiaro River is an important river in southern Spain. It flows through the Spanish regions of Cádiz and Málaga. These areas are part of Andalusia, a beautiful part of Spain.
The river starts in the Sierra Bermeja mountains. It then flows south, passing through the Sierra de Grazalema natural park. Finally, it empties into the Mediterranean Sea near a town called Sotogrande.

The Guadiaro River is about 183 kilometers (114 miles) long. It is one of the longest rivers in the region. The river's journey takes it through different landscapes. These include mountains, valleys, and coastal areas.

One very special part of the Guadiaro River is its marshland. This marsh is located near where the river meets the sea. It is one of the only marshlands found along the Costa del Sol. The Costa del Sol is a busy coastal area in southern Spain.
