Gualala is a small town, also known as a municipality, located in the country of Honduras. It's part of the department of Santa Bárbara. Think of a department like a state or a large region within a country.

In 2013, about 5,191 people lived in the Gualala municipality. Most of the people living there are called Mestizo. This means they have a mix of European and Indigenous backgrounds.
