Guichón is a small city located in the western part of Uruguay. It's found in the Paysandú Department.

Where is Guichón?
Guichón is located along Route 90. It is about 17 kilometers (10.5 miles) west of where Route 90 meets Route 4. It is also 19 kilometers (11.8 miles) east of where Route 90 meets Route 25.
A Brief History of Guichón
Guichón has grown quite a bit over the years!
From Village to City
- On June 15, 1907, Guichón was officially named a "Pueblo," which means a village. Before this, it was known as the main town of the "Palmar" judicial area.
- Many years later, on June 22, 1955, its status was upgraded to "Villa," meaning it became a town.
- Finally, on November 17, 1964, Guichón officially became a "Ciudad," which means a city.
