Guillermo Morón Montero (born February 8, 1926, died November 19, 2021) was a famous Venezuelan writer and historian. He spent his life studying and writing about the past. Morón was known for his many books on Venezuelan history.
He won important awards for his work. In 1987, he received the Municipal Prize of Literature. Later, in 1990, he was honored with the National Prize for Literature. These awards show how important his writing was in Venezuela.
