Gulf Creek starts its journey about 2 miles (3.2 km) north of a town called Corinth in North Carolina. From there, it flows towards the southwest. Finally, it meets and joins the Cape Fear River. This meeting point is about half a mile (0.8 km) south of Brickhaven, North Carolina.
