Guy Frederick Ecker (born February 9, 1959) is an American actor. He was born in Brazil to American parents. Guy Ecker became very famous in Latin America for his acting roles.
He was well-known for playing Sebastián Vallejo in the Colombian TV show Café, con aroma de mujer. Another Colombian show, Guajira, was also very popular. In 1998, he moved to Mexico. There, he got his first main role in a Mexican TV show called La Mentira. He acted alongside Kate del Castillo in this show, and it was a huge hit. After that, he had main roles in Salomé and Heridas de amor. People in America might know him from the TV show Las Vegas. In that show, he played Detective Luis Perez.

Guy Ecker was born in São Paulo, Brazil. He is the third of five children. His parents, Marion and Bob Ecker, were American. His father was a businessman from Wisconsin. He worked for many international companies. Because of his father's job, Guy Ecker lived in different countries. As a child, he also lived in Colombia, Venezuela, and Mexico.
From Business to Acting
When he was a child, Guy Ecker enjoyed being in plays. He also took part in many talent shows. He later moved to the United States for college. He studied at the University of Texas in Austin. He earned a degree in International Business. After graduating, he realized his true passion was acting. One of his first acting jobs was in a McDonald's commercial. He had to juggle eggs in the advertisement.
