Guy Oseary was born on October 3, 1972, in Jerusalem, Israel. He grew up in California and went to Beverly Hills High School. In 2017, he married Brazilian model Michelle Alves in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. They have four children together.
Career in Music and Film

Guy Oseary started working in the music industry at a young age. In 1989, when he was 17, he became an independent A&R representative. An A&R person helps find new artists and develop their music.
In 1992, Oseary joined Maverick Records, a record label started by Madonna. He was one of the first employees there. By the age of 19, he became an A&R executive and later rose to become the chairman of the company. He helped many artists, including The Prodigy, Alanis Morissette, and Deftones. He also worked on soundtracks for popular movies like Austin Powers, The Matrix, and Kill Bill. Under his guidance, Maverick Records sold over 100 million albums worldwide.
Oseary also worked in film production through Maverick Films. He was an executive producer for several movies, including four films from The Twilight Saga: Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn – Part 1. He also produced TV shows like Last Call with Carson Daly.
Managing Top Artists
In 2004, Guy Oseary became a partner at Untitled Entertainment, a management company. The next year, in 2005, he became the manager for Madonna, who was his longtime business partner. He helped manage her successful concert tours, including the Confessions Tour (2006) and the Sticky & Sweet Tour (2008–09). These tours were among the highest-earning concert tours ever. Oseary won the Top Manager award at the Billboard Touring Awards in both 2006 and 2009.
In 2007, Oseary helped Madonna make a big deal with Live Nation, a major entertainment company. In 2013, he took over as the manager for the famous band U2, managing them until 2022. He also started managing the Red Hot Chili Peppers in 2021.
In 2020, Oseary left his role at Maverick. In October 2020, he co-founded a company called Pearpop. In 2021, he also started representing Yuga Labs, the creators of the Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT project.
Other Projects and Ventures
Guy Oseary has written four books. One book, Jews Who Rock, is about Jewish people who influenced the music industry. His second book, On the Record, shares advice on how to succeed in the music business from famous artists and executives. He also published two photo books about Madonna's tours.
Oseary is also involved in investing. He co-founded A-Grade Investments with actor Ashton Kutcher and businessman Ronald Burkle. This company has invested in many well-known companies like Airbnb, Foursquare, Shazam, SoundCloud, Spotify, and Uber. Later, he co-founded Sound Ventures with Ashton Kutcher to invest in new technologies.
In 2010, Madonna and Oseary started a gym chain called Hard Candy Fitness. They also launched a lifestyle brand together called "Truth or Dare by Madonna."
Oseary has made small appearances in movies like Charlie's Angels and You Don't Mess with the Zohan. He also appeared in Madonna's music video for "Deeper and Deeper" in 1992.
In January 2024, it was announced that a movie would be made based on the autobiography of Anthony Kiedis, the singer for the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Oseary is one of the producers for this film.
