Guy Oseary's Career in Music and Film

Guy Oseary started working in the music business when he was only 17 years old. In 1989, he became an A&R (Artists and Repertoire) representative. This means he helped find new artists and develop their music.
Working at Maverick Records
In 1992, at age 19, Oseary joined Maverick Records. This record label was started by the famous singer Madonna. He quickly moved up and became the chairman of the company. At Maverick, he helped many artists become successful. Some of these artists included The Prodigy, Alanis Morissette, and Deftones.
He also worked on soundtracks for popular movies. These included the Austin Powers movies, The Matrix, and Kill Bill.
