Habib Wahid's Music Career
Starting Out: The Krishno Album (2003)
While in the UK, Habib Wahid worked with other music producers like Karsh Kale. He was already a music producer, but he needed a singer for his new album. In London, he met Kaya, a restaurant owner from Sylhet. Kaya became the singer for his first album.
In 2003, Habib released his first album, Krishno. Habib created the music, and Kaya sang the songs. The album was a big success in both Britain and Bangladesh. Krishno mixed folk music with modern sounds. It brought a fresh new style to the music scene in Dhaka.
Hit Albums and Film Songs (2004–2014)
Over the next few years, Habib Wahid released six more albums. These included Maya (2004), Moina Go (2005), Shono (2006), Panjabiwala (2007), Bolchi Tomake (2008), and O Bosheshe (2008). To help Bangladeshi music grow, Habib often introduced new singers in his albums. He worked with artists like Helal, Julee, Nirjhor, Shireen, and Nancy.
Habib first sang on his own album Moina Go. He sang two songs: Din Gelo and Esho Brishti Namai. He also featured his father, Ferdous Wahid, as a singer in some of his albums. On June 1, 2011, Habib released his 8th album, Ahoban!. It had 9 songs, including duets with Nancy and Kona. His father, Ferdous Wahid, also sang one song. In December 2012, Habib released another album called Shadhin.
Habib also released albums with other artists. Maya featured Kaya and Helal. In 2007, he released Panjabiwala with Shireen Jawad. After working together on many songs, Habib released a full album with his father, Ferdous Wahid, called O Bosheshe in 2008. Later, he released Somorpon with Aurthohin & Warfaze in 2011. He also released Rong with Nancy in 2012.

New Songs and Projects (2015–Present)
Habib Wahid started a new part of his career by releasing single songs. His first single was "Hariye Fela Bhalobasha," an R&B/Soul song. He explained that the music market had changed. People often bought his songs as ringtones, so releasing singles was a good way to earn money.
In 2015, he released his second single, "Mon Ghumay Re." This was a world song that mixed rock, folk, and electronic music. Habib also performed at Bangla Beats in the UK in 2015. This concert promoted Bangla music and culture. Other artists like Ferdous Wahid and Nancy also performed. Habib also produced "Cholo Bangladesh" for Grameenphone. This was a song for the 2015 Cricket World Cup.
In 2016, Habib released the pop song "Tomar Akash." Later that summer, he released "Moner Thikana," a love song he wrote and produced. A month later, "Beporawa Mon" came out. This song was later used in the film Ami Tomar Hote Chai. He also released other singles from TV shows and films. These included "Meghe Dhaka Shohor" and "Tumi Amar," a duet with Nancy. In late 2016, Habib released "Ei Bangla Ei Manush" for the World Bank's End Poverty Day. The song celebrated the people of Bangladesh and their fight against poverty.
To start 2017, Habib released "Tumi Hina" through his own label, HW Productions. He then released "Mitthe Noy" on Valentine's Day. His song "Ghum" was an upbeat pop electronic song released in Spring 2017. In the summer, he released "Golaper Din," featuring Nancy.
