Hailey Colborn (born October 10, 2000) is an American beauty queen. She won the title of Miss Teen USA 2018. Hailey is the second person from Kansas to win this national competition. The first was Keylee Sue Sanders, who won Miss Teen USA 1995.

Early Life and Education

Hailey Colborn was born in Wichita, Kansas. Her parents are Kevin and Denise Colborn. She started learning classical ballet when she was young and trained for 14 years.

While she was a student, Hailey created a special program called SelfPosi. Through this program, she visits middle schools. She talks to girls about how important it is to love and believe in themselves.

Hailey finished high school at Wichita Northwest High School in 2018. She was also the class president there. After high school, she went to Princeton University. She studied English Literature and graduated in 2022. Today, Hailey leads an online community on TikTok. It's called "Hot Literati" and is for people who love reading.

Her Journey in Pageants

In 2017, Hailey Colborn joined the Miss Kansas Teen USA 2018 contest. She represented the Greater Wichita area. She won the competition and was crowned Miss Kansas Teen USA 2018. Before this, she had competed in the Miss Kansas' Outstanding Teen 2016 contest. There, she finished as the first runner-up. She also did well in the fitness and talent parts of that competition.

As Miss Kansas Teen USA 2018, Hailey got to represent Kansas at the Miss Teen USA 2018 competition. This big event took place in Shreveport, Louisiana. The final competition was on May 18, 2018, at Hirsch Memorial Coliseum. Hailey won the crown, beating Kirby Elizabeth Self from South Carolina. She was the second person from Kansas to win the Miss Teen USA title.

Hailey's time as Miss Teen USA ended on April 28, 2019. She crowned Kaliegh Garris from Connecticut as the next winner. This happened at the Miss Teen USA 2019 competition in Reno, Nevada.
