Halsey is a small town located in Marathon County, Wisconsin, in the United States. It is part of the Wausau area. In 2010, about 651 people lived there.
The town was named after Pierson Halsey. He was a partner in a law firm that helped start the nearby town of Athens, Wisconsin. Halsey was officially separated from the town of Hamburg in 1883.
