The Harlingen Dutch Reformed Church
The Harlingen Dutch Reformed Church is a very old and important building in the area. It is located in the Belle Mead, New Jersey part of Montgomery Township. The church community started way back in 1727. That's almost 300 years ago!
The church is still active today, which means people still go there for services. An important person in the church's history was Reverend Johannes Arondeus. He was a pastor there from 1747 to 1754. He was sent by a church group from Amsterdam.
