Harrington is a lovely town in New South Wales, Australia. It's a popular spot for fishing, located right where the Manning River meets the ocean. This town was started way back in 1853 and officially became a village in 1896.

Harrington is about 15 kilometers (9 miles) north-east of Taree. It is also about 335 kilometers (208 miles) north-east of Sydney, the capital city of New South Wales. In 2021, about 3,381 people lived in Harrington. The town was named by explorer John Oxley after the Earl of Harrington.
