Harry Holman was born in Exeter, England. His father was also a football player for Exeter City. Harry was very special because he was one of only two people ever to play for England in both football and rugby at the under-15 level! This shows he was a truly amazing athlete.
Starting His Football Journey
Harry began his football career in the youth team of Chelsea. This is a very famous club. After his time at Chelsea, he signed a deal with his hometown club, Exeter City, in July 1976. He made his first appearance for the team a few months later.
