Meaning Behind 13th Floor
The album title 13th Floor refers to how some buildings skip the 13th floor because the number 13 is seen as unlucky. Mighty explained that she sees it as "something that we remove from our reality because it is something that we don't understand." She uses the album to talk about topics she believes many people choose to ignore. She also mentioned how the Thirteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution is not discussed as much as other amendments.
