Instead, it's part of the larger county. You can find Hayne northeast of Liberal right along U.S. Route 54 highway.
A Look Back: Hayne's History
Hayne once had its own post office! It first opened its doors in 1908. People in the community could send and receive mail there. However, the post office eventually closed down in 1925.
