Hazelwood, California facts for kids
Hazelwood was once a small community in Imperial County, California. It was located about 10 miles (16 kilometers) southeast of a town called Holtville.
A post office was open in Hazelwood for a short time, from 1910 to 1912. This means people living there could send and receive mail during those years. After 1912, the post office closed, and Hazelwood eventually became a "former settlement," meaning it's no longer an active community today.
