Heather Matarazzo (born November 10, 1982) is an American actress. She is well-known for her roles in popular movies and TV shows. You might recognize her as Lilly Moscovitz from The Princess Diaries movies or as Martha Meeks in the Scream horror film series.
Heather started acting when she was just 12 years old. Her first big movie was Welcome to the Dollhouse (1995), where she played a character named Dawn Wiener. Her performance was so good that she won an Independent Spirit Award! She has also appeared in other films like The Devil's Advocate (1997), Saved! (2004), and Sisters (2015). Early Life and Beginnings
Heather Matarazzo has Irish roots; her biological father was from Ireland. She was adopted and grew up in an Italian-American family.
She began acting at a very young age, around six years old. A talent manager noticed her after she spoke at an event for children. This led to her starting her acting career!

In 1997, Heather won an Independent Spirit Award for her role in Welcome to the Dollhouse. She has often said she enjoys playing interesting characters, especially those who might feel like outsiders.

Personal Life
Heather Matarazzo was in a partnership with Caroline Murphy from 2004 to 2012. She later married comedian Heather Turman in 2018.
On September 11, 2001, Heather was scheduled to have a meeting at the World Trade Center. Luckily, she overslept that day and was not there when the tragic events occurred.
