Early Life and Education
Henry Fleetwood was the youngest son of Thomas Fleetwood. His family lived at a place called The Vache in Buckinghamshire.
He studied law at a famous place called Gray's Inn starting in 1580. By 1586, he was ready to practice law.
Political Career
In 1589, Henry Fleetwood was chosen to be a Member of Parliament (MP) for Aylesbury. An MP is someone elected to represent people in the House of Commons.
Later, in 1601, he was elected as an MP again, this time for Wycombe. He was re-elected for Wycombe in 1604, continuing his work in the government.
Family Connections
Henry Fleetwood married Elizabeth Fust. She was the daughter of Edward Fust from London.
He had two brothers who were also involved in politics: George Fleetwood and William Fleetwood. William was also an MP, representing Middlesex.
