Henry Gale Sanders (born August 18, 1942) is an American actor. He is especially known for his role in the 1977 movie Killer of Sheep, which was directed by Charles Burnett. Henry Sanders has also appeared in many popular TV shows and movies over the years.

One of his most famous roles was in the movie Killer of Sheep (1978), where he played a character named Stan. This film is known for its realistic style. He also appeared in the boxing movie Rocky Balboa (2006) and the baseball film Bull Durham (1988). Later, he was in 42 (2013), a movie about baseball legend Jackie Robinson, and Selma (2014), which tells the story of the civil rights marches. In 2014, he also appeared in the award-winning movie Whiplash.
