Henry Hill (born around 1806 – died May 30, 1887) was an Irish architect. He was known for designing many buildings in County Cork, Ireland.
A Family of Architects
Henry Hill was born around 1806. He was the second son of Thomas Hill. Henry and his older brother, William Hill, were the first architects in their family. They started a long tradition of building and design!
Many other family members followed in their footsteps. Henry's son, Arthur Hill, became an architect. William's son, William Henry Hill, also chose the same career. Even in the next generation, Arthur Hill's son, Henry Houghton Hill, and William Henry Hill's son, also named William Henry Hill, became architects.
