The House of Lords is part of the United Kingdom's Parliament.

Irish Representative Peer

Even though he didn't get an automatic seat, Henry Prittie was elected as an Irish Representative Peer in 1891. This meant he was chosen by other Irish nobles to represent them in the House of Lords. He held this important position until he died.
